Despite the growing importance of mental health and self-assessment tools, there is a significant gap in online resources tailored for introverts. Existing PSA (Public Service Announcement) websites predominantly cater to extroverted personality traits, and lack sufficient content that resonates with introverted individuals.
Developing a dedicated PSA website designed specifically for introverts by acknowledging and accommodating introverts' unique preferences and needs, the proposed website aims to empower individuals to proactively manage their mental well-being and make them feel more comfortable in their own skin.
Solo Designer
I initiated this project by researching introverts, drawing insights from personal experiences, reading articles, and gathering content for the website.
Subsequently, I crafted a mood board that encapsulated the subtle playfulness inherent in many introverts, combined with contemporary web design elements.
Guided by this bright and modern aesthetic, I proceeded to develop wireframes tailored for various screen sizes, encompassing mobile, tablet, and desktop interfaces.
Upon completing the wireframes, I advanced to the webpage development phase, employing CSS, HTML, and Javascript for coding.
Through this project, I've learned that the initial idea is just a starting point, and creating detailed wireframes before coding is crucial for efficiency and a polished final product. I've also gained skills in collecting information to write website content, blending personal experiences and researched articles to shape a compelling narrative for a more engaging user experience.
